How do you get an ovarian cyst?

From the time a female begins having monthly period, she is already 50 % apt to naturally develop cysts. Although medically, genetics play an important factor, possibility of having cysts diminishes with those taking oral contraceptives than those who are not. This is because oral contraceptives prevent the ovaries from producing egg cells during ovulation. Some women are also more prone to ovarian cysts than others. Obesity, having monthly periods in a younger age, hormonal imbalance, irregular menstrual interval, having cysts before, and even infertility would increase the chance to develop ovarian cysts. Breast cancer patients and survivors who have undergone Tamoxifen therapy is also at risk of having ovarian cyst. This is one of the side effects and downside of this cancer therapy.

In Nov(2005), i underwent TAHBSO (Total Abdomenal Hysterectomy Bisalphingo Oophorectomy)because of endometrial cyst on my right ovary. It’s quite big already, and I was 47 yrs old that time, so TAHBSO was decided. Biopsy revealed it to be benign, also 2 very small cysts in the left ovary and 1 in the uterus. My comment/question is: Are there natural ways/measures/remedies be done to counter the effects of TAHBSO?
