I am in my first trimester and I was told that my pregnancy is a bit delicate, hence I had to quit my job and focus on making sure that I am in perfect health for my baby! Reading about ovarian cyst and its effects on a pregnant woman scares the hell out of me! Thanks though for all the information you have on this website, very informative!

I will be very much worried if I have an ovarian cyst during pregnancy.
Even if the doctor says that the cyst is benign, it may also hurt the baby
or it may cause some adverse effects during childbirth. I don’t want this
to happen to me. It’s still wonderful to see your baby in the pink of
health when it comes out her mother’s womb

It’s good to know that ovarian cyst in women who are pregnant are usually
benign. Maybe it is better for the mother not to fail on her monthly or
weekly check ups so that her gynecologist could monitor her pregnancy
and if she may find ovarian cyst during the course of her conception.

That’s true! A great number of women die due to ovarian cyst all over the world.
Ruptured ovarian cyst is the most common cause of death for women with ovarian cyst.

I heard you can die if you have an ovarian cyst during pregnancy. is that true?

In one hand, get pregnant is one of the most blessed moments in a woman’s life. On the hand, giving birth is one of the worst, specially if you have any trouble along the process.

I think the problem about having an ovarian cyst during pregnancy is the risk of either suffer a rupture of the ovary or fetus malformation.
It’s very sad but sometimes It happens and the doctors have to be very careful to avoid hurting the mom or the baby during the surgery if necessary.
